Jason Lee
Commercial Litigation Counsel
Jason Lee is a barrister with over 25 years experience of dispute resolution involving all types of litigation and alternative dispute procedures, such as mediation and arbitration.
He has represented clients at every level from individuals with contract disputes to transnational corporations engaged in complex cross border litigation.
Jason has also advised major corporations, in diverse industries, on litigation risks in key strategic decisions. Jason advises a number of financial institutions, including family investment offices and exempt market dealers on dispute resolution and other strategic matters. He also has a developing interest in regulatory proceedings involving professionals such as lawyers, doctors, financial advisors, and asset dealers.
Jason is from Liverpool, England, where he attended university and law school obtaining an LLB (Hons) before completing the legal practice course and being admitted as a Solicitor in the UK in 1998.
Having emigrated to Canada he completed a course of study with the National Committee of Accreditation and was called to the Ontario bar.
