William Su
Barrister and Solicitor
William Su is a corporate and intellectual property lawyer with experience from a large national law firm. William retains a broad practice of solicitor and litigation work, with a focus on commercial transactions, intellectual property, and startups.
William holds Bachelor of Commerce and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Alberta. During law school he would lead the University of Alberta Esports Association of over 2000 members to innovate the collegiate Esports space and secure the University of Alberta’s first finalist placing at the French Speaking Michel-Bastarache Moot Court Competition.
Since 2014, William has actively competed at the highest echelons of Esports at national and international professional gaming competitions. Prior to law, he served as an IT Consultant, Government Analyst, and Esports Consultant for organizations across North America.
William still spends his free time as an avid gamer, casually competing in videogames with friends across the globe. Beyond playing videogames, he volunteers his time with videogame stakeholders on the direction of the industry in Alberta, acting as a panel speaker on the legal nuances of startups, and guest judging for business case competitions. William is fluent in English and French.
